About Klast

Quality you can feel.

An Adelaide-born brand with one mission - bring genuinely premium, Swedish-engineered hardware to the people who actually use it.

How it started

It began with a box of odd-looking clips.

Our co-founder Jonte first came across a version of the Klamp at work - a quick-release battery terminal unlike anything on the local market. He fitted a set to his own car, and the penny dropped immediately: this was too good to keep quiet.

It does two simple things brilliantly. Isolate your battery in seconds so it never goes flat in storage, and pull it out in half the time when you need to. No spanners. No rounded-off bolts. Just lift, and lock.

The name
KLAST

A nod to Sweden, where every Klamp is made. Five letters - one for each cylinder of the legendary Swedish engines we grew up admiring. And in street speak, it simply means classy.

The people

Two people, one standard.

Klast is small, local and hands-on - the people who build it are the people who use it.

Jonte
Co-founder · Product & cars

The car half of Klast. Raised in South Australia's drift scene, he's run everything from a 4AGE-swapped KE to a well-known S14. He found the Klamp, proved it in the pits, and never looked back.

Reece
Co-founder · Brand & community

The brand half. A marketer who's moved between Adelaide, Canada and the Sunshine Coast, he's set on growing Klast into something bigger than a product - a community of people who care how things are built.

What we stand for

More than a transaction.

01
Proudly South Australian
Built and run out of Adelaide. We back local, and we're here for the people who keep this scene alive.
02
Build things that last
Better hardware you buy once. It's kinder on your wallet and on the planet than the cheap stuff you replace twice a year.
03
Community over everything
We'd rather build a community than chase a sale. Real people, real builds, at the events and online.

Come build with us.

Fit it once. Join a community that cares how things are made.
